TEARING IMPROVER

A Tearing Improver is a textile finishing auxiliary used to increase the tearing strength of fabrics during garment processing. Many wet processes (like bleaching, enzyme washing, and stone washing) weaken fibers and reduce fabric strength. Tearing improvers are applied in the finishing stage to restore strength and extend garment life.

Uses of Tearing Improver:

  • Enhances Fabric Strength:  Improves tearing resistance of woven and knitted fabrics, especially after enzyme or stone washing.
  • Reduces Fiber Damage: Protects cotton, denim, and blended fabrics from excessive weakening caused by chemicals and abrasion.
  • Improves Garment Durability: Ensures garments like jeans, workwear, and uniforms last longer under wear and tear.
  • Maintains Fabric Handle: Provides strength while keeping fabric soft, flexible, and comfortable.
