DYE FIXER

A Dye Fixer is a specialized auxiliary chemical widely used in the textile wet processing industry to improve the color fastness of dyed and printed fabrics. It works by binding with unfixed or loosely held dye molecules on the fiber surface, preventing them from washing out, bleeding, or fading.

Dye fixers are especially important for fabrics dyed with reactive dyes, direct dyes, and acid dyes, which often leave a percentage of dye unattached to the fiber after dyeing. By applying a dye fixer in the finishing stage, textiles gain improved wash fastness, perspiration fastness, and rubbing fastness, ensuring the fabric maintains its original brightness and shade for a longer time.

Modern dye fixers are available in formaldehyde-free and eco-friendly grades, making them suitable for sustainable textile production and compliance with international standards (such as Oeko-Tex, ZDHC, REACH).
